Find a Service Near You for Aquarium Cleaning
Not everyone wants to clean their fish aquarium on their own and that's where services that do it for you come into play. We have setup a cool tool that you can use to find good services that clean your tank for you.
These services are commonly used for tanks in business setups. You know that fish aquarium you always see at the doctors office? Exactly! A service most likely cleans that tank. Enter your zip code to find a cleaning service near you.
Is Paying a Service Really Expensive?
Just like anything else in this world, it does take man power and an individual to drive to your location and clean your fish tank. So you have gas involved, the supplies to clean the tank, to pay the individual person, and so forth. Even though it seems like an easy task to most of us... paying someone to do it will add up.
To answer the question though, the service will not be extremely high priced but it may come to a shock to you (if your used to doing it yourself). Everything has a price in this world and so do these aquarium cleaning services. You have to remember these most likely come with warranties of some sort and a promise that your tank will be crystal clear. I can't give a definitive price because depending on your location in the world.. will greatly depend on different prices. Half the battle is getting to the location of your tank.
What Does a Service All Include?
Usually a full blown tank cleaning with other small aspects like algae scrubbing and so forth. One of the most important aspect to cleaning a tank is in the substrate cleaning. Make sure to ask about how they plan to do that.
Other services will feed your fish and all kinds of other cool add ons. Again, these are usually not hobbyists of the hobby but instead just business owners looking to have an aquarium to gain an audience and almost be a showcase of some sort.

I own a small business but my location is out in the country and it seems I can't find a service to clean my aquarium but I don't know how to do this on my own either. Do you have any advice on what I can do to help keep and maintain this because I had a friend set it up for me and it looks beautiful but I just don't know how to maintain it now.

Yeah that seems like a pretty bad scenario you got there considering you live out in the country. What I would maybe do is post an ad on the Internet saying that you're looking to pay inexperienced person that will help take care of it and maintain it. Chances are you're going to find an experienced hobbyist that is really going to enjoy doing this and if you spend the right amount of money and get some good components the really isn't too much maintenance.

Yeah and if you go to really big tank I would say you only need to maintain it even less because there's more water. You can have a filtration unit hooked up to it and a larger tank is going to take a lot less maintenance because it's just less of a density of waste and your bio load more diluted.
